I created this blog because women tend to forget themselves in this whirlwind called everyday life and they need someone to remind them to take care of themselves. I created it also because I’m convinced that natural skincare is a gift for the skin and it would be a shame not to share it with you. Last but not least, I created it because the most beautiful and efficient ingredient in skincare is YOU.
Know your skin, learn its needs, learn how to feed it from inside, don’t forget that you’re much more than a mere skin type and you have the key for a happy skin and a happy you in your own skin.
I suggest that together, we take care of you. Your job is to look at yourself with indulgence, to be curious and to pamper yourself. My job is to remind you to turn off the automatic mode and reconnect, to inform and to answer your questions, to stand by your side in a journey toward radiant skin and wellbeing.
Let’s get it straight right from the start. Calme & Volupté is not about :
- online consulting for skin pathologies.
- beauty blogging in the sense that I don’t write product reviews and I couldn’t make a make-up tutorial even if my life depended on it.
On the other hand, it’s about :
- reliable information,
- simple formulas you can make at home because DIY is a rewarding (and addictive) hobby.
- sharing resources I collect in my own personal development journey. Nothing big, only small stones on the road to help you find your way and explore futher if you feel like it.
- In a nutshell, it’s about keys to understand, decide, choose and create.
Hi, I’m Ilhem. I’m a teacher and a professioanl organic skincare formulator. I like people, natural ingredients, research, helping people and I’m quite in love with the concept of creating one’s life.
I’m nerd ascendant chatterbox. Give me research and I lighten up like the Eiffel Tower on Bastide day. Infinite possibilities? I’m pure joy and babbling about my obsession.
The greatest part of my professional life has been devoted to pedagogy and personalized support. It’s impossible to sum it up in very few words but my life has been rich in human connections. They have nourished me and still do.
I discovered natural skincare almost accidently but I never looked back. Natural ingredients are noble materials; they’re alive, in perfect affinity with the skin and I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of this alchemy.
In a sense, transformation is at the croosroads of my two professional lives : I transform ingredients into something that will make you feel good or I transform knowledge into something to help you feel good. Either way, it’s about positive transformation and helping you feeling good.
